THE PROJECT

Here is the basic information about our project:
 

In this project we focused on developing key competences, particularly communication, language, entrepreneurial and social and on improving creative and presentation skills of the participants to support them in their future professional life. The main topic of the project was connected with entrepreneurship and business and was focused on a group of young people who face limited opportunities. 

By implementation of this project we wanted to improve key competences and skills of young people, support their active citizenship, their awareness about labour market, support intercultural dialogue and tolerance. The aim of the project was also to support cooperation with the partners, work together on various tasks connected with entrepreneurship, exchange knowledge and experience regarding business, exchange ideas for possible future career, discuss problems of the labour market and gain some new knowledge and skills essential for success at the labour market. 

In this project we wanted to develop key competences of participants through various types of methods of non-formal education, such as games, workshops, discussions, presentations, role-plays, intercultural activities and evaluation and dissemination activities. The participants were dealing with the topic of entrepreneurship, possibilities of starting their own business, exchanged information about the labour market situation in the partner countries. After some activities connected with their future entry to the labour market (e.g. presentations about unemployment, discussing and comparing the results, and role-play activities regarding labour market such as Job interviews) they created their fictive firms and worked on creating small business plans, doing SWOT analysis, creating promotional materials using digital tools such as Canva, shooting commercials of their fictive firms and final presentations of their fictive firms. 

The main objectives of the project therefore were: - development of language and communication competences of the participants - rising awareness about labour market in the partner countries - development of entrepreneurial competences of the participants - development of creative and presentation skills - development of social skills.

Moreover we wanted to allow the participants of the project to explore new cultures, habits and lifestyles and through mutual learning foster European values such as solidarity, democracy, friendship etc. By implementing intercultural activities we wanted to deal with issues of tolerance coming from other social groups and thus fight with radicalization of youth. 

The project also dealt with the needs of partner organizations to increase the quality of their work by involvement of new, more competent youngsters into their activities and by fostering and developing cooperation with foreign partners and by sharing examples of good practice with the other partners.
