On the first day we played several games to learn about each other, 

Energizers

Every day the participating teams introduced some energizers to warm up and start further activities.

Evenings of national culture

Four evenings we spent with presentations of national culture led by all partners. Each team showed short videos, dances, quizzes and games to the others.

Meeting youth

On Tuesday morning the participants had a common programme with students from a secondary business school in Orlová. They shared their experience from the activities so far and talked about their countries, jobs, unemployment and business. And of course they played some games and energizers together.

Moving debate

Together with the students from Business Academy in Orlová we had a Moving debate activity focused on entrepreneurship and business.

Learning about the venue

Besides project focused activities the participants also learned more about the venue of the project and the hosting country in some walks and outdoor activities.

Team-building games

To make working groups do their tasks well, we played some team-building games.

Job interviews

Role-play activity where the participants prepared and played short sketches.

Fictive firms

The most important part of the youth exchange was groupwork on fictive firms - creating a firm, working out a business plan, doing SWOT analysis, creating various promotional materials and commercials. The groups also presented their work to students of a business academy in Orlová.

Commercials

All groups of fictive firms made short commercials to promote their firm. You can find the films in Commercial section on this webpage.

Promotion

The groups of fictive firms created some leaflest or posters to promote their firm. Some of them also used Canva for creating promotional materials.

Day of national cuisine

Another intercultural activity where all four teams cooked their meals, brought some cookies, sweets and other food to share with the others. Each country had their own tables to present their national cuisine.

Final presentations

When the work on all six fictive firms was complete, promotion materials created and commercials made, the mixed international teams presented their work to the others and then we all discussed.

Good  bye, Hrádek!

Our project came to its end and we had to say good bye to Hrádek! We spent great time there in the mountains and will be looking forward to meeting again at some other project in the future!
